Lake District retreat? 3-5 partners wanted.

I have always had a love of the Lake District. Now in my 50's I am semi-retired. I have a part-time job and by mutual agreement I work-full time 3 weeks each month leaving me to enjoy the remaining 16 weeks. Easing myself into f/t retirement? My wife and I have lived in our family home in Sussex for over 25 years and cannot see us moving permanently from the place we call home. I have for sometime considered the possibility of shared ownership of a property in the Lake District. I don't want to purchase a property on my own and get involved with the hassle of renting it out to justify the expense. At the moment much of my time off is spent walking the fells. A growing range of favoured B&Bs has served me well. But at the end of the day there something about returning to a place that is 'yours'. Until I came across this website I thought that it would never be possible. How to go about it? Where does one start? But maybe through 'Yours2share' a small group of like minded individuals can be found and together we can find our own 'home' in the Lakes. Initial thoughts are perhaps 4 to 6 potential owners, looking to invest £30k to £60k to buy a 1 or 2 bedroomed property to sleep 2 - 4. If you too share my love of the Lakes, and would like to investigate the possibilities of part owning a holiday home please get it touch.
