Do you require the time-savings, flexibility, convenience, prestige and security of a personal business aircraft but cannot justify the capital outlay and running costs of sole ownership? Do you find chartering an aircraft too restrictive and expensive? If you are planning on flying more than 50 hours per year the solution is the CAS Fractional Ownership programme.

How it works:

The idea behind the CAS fractional ownership programme is that you have all the benefits of your own aircraft (see the aircraft management page) at a fraction of the cost, as you are only paying the running costs for the percentage of the aircraft that you own.

You purchase a minimum of a 1/8th share in the aircraft that best suits your requirements, which entitles you to 50 flying hours per year. You may purchase a larger share in the aircraft for a greater number of hours per annum if required. You then pay a monthly maintenance fee which covers your portion of the fixed costs of the aircraft, such as scheduled maintenance, hangarage, pilot salary etc. All that you then have left to pay is the direct cost of using your aircraft, such as fuel and landing fees.

The costings for each aircraft are unique, but to give you an idea of the cost savings against existing air travel options, the true hourly cost of the Cirrustratus Aviation Services fractional ownership programme works around 40% less expensive than the equivalent air charter option.

We offer fractional ownership programmes on the following aircraft:

Piper JetProp DLX

Type: Light business turboprop

Passengers: 5

Cruise Speed: 265 knots

Range: 1,050 nautical miles (i.e. London to Gibraltar)

Eclipse 500

Type: Twin-engine very light personal jet

Passengers: 5

Cruise Speed: 370 knots

Range: 1,200 nautical miles (i.e. London to Casablanca)

Raytheon Premier 1

Type: Twin-engine light corporate jet

Passengers: 6-7

Cruise Speed: 410 knots

Range: 1,400 nautical miles (i.e. London to Moscow)

Cessna Citation XLS

Type: Twin-engine mid-size business jet

Passengers: 9

Cruise Speed: 440 knots

Range: 1,850 nautical miles (i.e. London to Cyprus)
