£2,312 & 50p buys a share in Holman & Pye designed UFO34 sloop, a renowned cruiser /racer of her day.
There are 8 shareholders and one share has become available. We are a friendly syndicate who muck in together both for sailing and maintenance. We sail with family and friends and together with members. Cruises have been made to; Hebrides, Holland, France, Portugal, Spain. Maintenance averages out at about £750pa.
The yacht was built in 1977 with GRP hull ;no sign of osmosis. Displacement 4,573kg; ballast 1733kg. She is very seaworthy and has shown herself to be able to withstand heavy weather while keeping moving in light airs. She points well. Tiller steering.
She is well equiped with Raymarine 120 chartplotter and radar; EPIRP; Liferaft; Aeries wind steering gear. Reliable 35hp Thorntcroft diesel engine.
