Wants to share Boats - Sail
Sami was a flotilla yacht,restored and refitted before being purchased by current syndicate in 2000. All qualified skippers with many years experience. Monthly maintenance cost is £50 per share including guardinage, insurance etc. There is a yearly meeting. Syndicate operates according to RYA recommendation.
We are a very friendly bunch and willing to help members.

Sami is UK registered and lies at Nidri isle of Levkas in the South lonian,She is easily reached from Preveza airport,25 minutes away by taxi, or bus,express bus from Athens.

Sami is very manoeuvrable under engine and sail, easily handled. She is very stable and copes well with adverse conditions. Generally the South lonian is a very safe & beautiful sailing area.

Dimensions are: LOA 8.25m LWL 6.4m Beam 2.93 Draft 1 .5m Saloon
height 1 .79m Displacement 2800kg Ballast 900kg Sail Area 30.Gsq m Fuel 10 galls.Water 22 galls.

She has 5 berths, 2 in the forward cabin; just aft of this is the full width heads with wash basin, shower and sea toilet, through the second cabin door is the spacious saloon where the table folds up to the bulkhead leaving an open floor area more akin to a 33/35 footer. Plenty of storage space and a cavernous cockpit locker; the tiller steering.

The boat is hauled out each Nov-Mar to be pressure cleaned, anti fouled,sails cleaned, new impeller, anode and any remedial work necessary. In recent years, work included: new Sails, propshaft,glands,coupling,refurbished
roller reefing, bimini and boom tent, installation of an electric winch 40metres anchor chain.
Twin batteries/isolating switch, removable cockpit table, re-upholstered cushions,sea toilet, stainless steel hob and grill, roller for kedge anchor box.
Halyards, sheets and rigging are in good condition.
The engine a Yanmar 1GM, was new in 2000 and is serviced each winter.
A full engine top end service has just been completed in 2006. Fuel consumption is negligible.
There are 4 Lewmar winches, roller genoa with UV strip, slab reefed main,Bruce and Danforth anchors, A new installed electric winch was fitted in early 2006 warps, fenders.2 opening hatches, replaced in 2006, ice box,crockery/cutlery 5 pans, kettle, matching cushions
VHF radio, compass, log/depth, large inflatable Avon dinghy.First aid kit, flares, 5 life jackets, lifebuoy, manual bilge pump, fire extinguisher Flippers, masks, solar shower, wind scoop and new tool kit in case.

NB. Whilst every effort is made to give a true and accurate description of the yacht, the vendors can not be held liable for any alleged misrepresentation of fact prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves as to the boats condition and are recommended to get their own survey. A 2000 survey is available for inspection. Viewing can be arranged with the local guardinage.
