I haven’t spent as much time as I’d like on car shared ownership over the last couple of months, but these two snippets arrived in my inbox together today. First of all a great ad for half, third or quarter shares of a Lotus Esprit V8 and/or Lamborghini Countach Replica Share, it sounds like someone is having difficulty hanging onto his favourite toys and has worked out that selling a few shares might enable him to placate his wife and children!
Then I found a link to this excellent blog about car sharing based in Chicago.
Just to be clear, car sharing in this blog means what we in the UK call car clubs or shared car ownership. In the UK what we confusingly call car sharing is in fact lift sharing. This confusion makes life very painful for websites like yours2share.
