Case study: fractional rental, Monday to Friday, Canada Water |

Mark Jones had been trying to find a Monday to Friday lodger for many months with no success until he advertised on the yours2share website. Mark, a marketing manager in his twenties, lives in a new two bed penthouse apartment with views over the river in Canada Water. His "Monday to Friday" lodger recently moved to live in her dream house in Cornwall, but has to return to Canary Wharf in London to work during the week, so she stays with Mark on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. To ensure everything was written down and agreed correctly, Mark looked at various flat share agreements and created his own contract, which both signed. Mark: "three months on, the arrangement really works for both of us. There is 20 years between us, but we get on really well, and then I have the apartment to myself from Thursday night until Monday night. My lodger has a safe, comfortable place where she can keep some belongings. I'm very grateful to the yours2share website, it's a real gem. I'm even considering sharing other items: a car, boat and dog all sound interesting." |
