Wants to share Property - fractional ownership - UKI live with my partner in West Berkshire and we would like to buy a property with several acres of land. However this sort of thing is well out of our reach financially.
The only way I can see this happening is to join up with other like minded people and buy something large which
can be divided up.
Ideally I would like people who are interested in self-sufficiency. We would keep animals and grow all our own vegetables. We are in our late 40s, currently livning in a double decker bus which has been fully converted and powered by solar panels.
Our hobbies are reading, playing board games, gardening and animals. My partner works on an organic farm and I am a science teacher. We have money saved to buy land and will be able to get a mortgage. The more people that can come in the bigger the property and the more land it is likely to have.
There is a property to be auctioned on 22 May 2008 guide price is £450,000. It is a farm house with outbuildings and 12 acres of land. This is the type of place I we would like to buy with another couple. The main house could be divided up into two semi detached properties and the land divided equally.
