These boats are well designed for cruising on the inland waterways. There is a large cabin forward consisting of two single berths and en-suite heads with shower. Further aft is the saloon and internal helm position with convertible seating creating a double berth. Moving aft again is a shower to starboard and the galley running portside, then past the second cabin consisting of two single berths into the aft cabin with large double berth and en-suite heads with a third shower.
The shareholding entitles the owner to the use of their boat for a minimum of four weeks a year for the life of the boat. An AGM is held for each boating syndicate at a central location for owners to meet and socialise. At this AGM each member draws their four weeks. This will be a week Spring, a week in Summer, a week in Autumn and a week in the Winter. A keynote of the scheme is that you can swap your weeks with other owners. Unused weeks are available to fellow owners free of charge. Running costs are divided between shareholders, each paying 8%. These are actual costs. No profit is made on running costs. Owners are charged an annual management fee for the administration of their syndicate.
