Wants to share What else?I'm interested in finding between two and four people who adore handbags to share my newest acquisition and possibly further buys as well.
My latest handbag is an authentic Hermes 35cm Classic Birkin, chocolate brown (Havanne shade) in matte crocodile skin with Palladium hardware.
It is the Rolls Royce of handbags, pure class, the most elegant and stylish bag ever created. Its origin goes back to the late 1960s, when singer and actress Jane Birkin (those of you old enough may remember her for the explicit chart-topping 1968 classic 'Je t'aime moi non plus', which was banned from radio play-lists and the Vatican condemned it as 'immoral') boarded a plan carrying a large, fairly overloaded handbag and ended up sitting next to the then president of Hermes, who offered to make a special, large bag for her.
The bag's measurements are: 35 cm long, 28 cm high and 18 cm deep. The handles are 5" high. Letter 'I' and number embossed on the strap. 'Hermes-Paris' logo is embossed in Silver on the inside of the bag. It comes with the original padlock, keys and protective bag.
Although I'm advertising this to share by rental, I am also interested in joint ownership with a small group of people who love fabulous handbags like this. These are not handbags to be worn every day, but I have worn it once already and would expect to use it occasionally with certain outfits/for special occasions.
I live in Reigate, Surrey and I work in the City. It would be easiest if we all live in south London, Surrey or Kent and/or work in central London.
