2 Information automatically logged top

We use Your IP address to help diagnose problems with Our server and to administer Our Web site, and to help identify You and Your chosen set up of the Web site. Your IP address is also Used to gather broad demographic information, and for other purposes.

3 Information gathered on registration top

When You register for the Service, You provide Your name, address, telephone number and email address. They are available to You, and You can change them at any time, through the My Account, Update Details page.

4 Cookies top

We use small files known as "cookies" to enhance Users' experience of the Our Service, to save Your password so You don't have to re-enter it each time You visit Our site, and for other purposes. 6 Registration forms top

Our Website's registration form requires You to give Us contact information (like Your name, telephone and email address), and demographic information (like Your post/zipcode and age). Demographic information from the registration forms (like Your post/zip code and age) is Used to help find Your "sharing partner" for You, and to get in touch with You about Your Membership when necessary.

7 Email through the yours2share service top

We do not make Your email address available to anyone on any screen of the Service. You can choose to place contact details such as email, telephone number or web site address on your Ad, but these may be different to the email or telephone number with which you register. If you do not put contact details on your Ad, then the only legitimate way for a Member to contact You using the Service is to reply to an Ad or send a private message. We send this to You at Your yours2share private mailbox. We notify You using the email address You gave Us, that We have an message for You, and You can collect the message when You log in to the Website. You need to be a Member to read Your messages.

You may check and (if required) change the email address We hold for You at any time through the My Account, Update Details page. Sent and received message may appear in a Your Inbox on the mailbox for an indefinite period. We do not delete it after any specific period. We only delete messages if You cancel Your Membership. However, this does not mean that We will retain Your messages forever; there may come a time when We will need to delete some or all of it, for technical or other reasons. In this event, We will endeavor to give You advance warning that We are going to do so.

8 Advertising top

The Service may include interactive advertising for other businesses. We may use, and provide to third parties, anonymous demographic data provided by You to target this advertising more appropriately. If You respond to an advertisement, We ask You to remember that if that advertisement is targeted to a demographic group and You decide to give Your personal information to that advertiser, then the advertiser may be able to identify You as being a Member of that demographic group.

9 Newsletters top

If you are a Member, We will send You occasional emails to update You on issues relating only to Your Membership. You may opt out of receiving the newsletters when You register and at any time afterwards by clicking Unsubscribe at the bottom of any newsletter.

If you not a Member and have subscribed to our newsletters, we will send You newsletters occasionally on issues relating to sharing high value assets. You may opt out of receiving the newsletters by clicking Unsubscribe at the bottom of any newsletter.

11 Credit card information top

This information is used to obtain payment for your Membership with us. The page where this information is given by you is controlled by our contract merchant service provider, Worldpay plc, who operate a secure server, to process Our credit card payments. They encrypt Members' credit or debit card information and authorise payment directly. This means that Members' credit card details are never revealed to Us. Worldpay plc may transfer to, process and hold Your credit card information in countries either within or outside the European Economic Area in connection with performing their duties.

12 Companies in the yours2share group top

We may share data supplied by You (or collected about You) with Our subsidiaries, parent companies, businesses and other affiliated legal entities and businesses with whom We are under common corporate control, but only for the purposes described in this policy.

13 Changes in yours2share business top

If all of the assets which yours2share uses to operate its business (or substantially all of them) are acquired by a third party, We may transfer personal data We then hold to that party.

14 Security top

We use a secure server situated in a secure data centre to protect all the information you provide us with. We ensure that all the information you enter is protected from access by any third party. Access to this database is restricted internally. We also protect all our connections to the Internet using various security measures including firewalls and regular security audits on all our servers.

However, it remains each Member's responsibility:

to protect against unauthorised access to Your Details;
to ensure against Use by anyone else of the Service through the machine that Member Uses while they are "logged on" to the Service;
to log off or exit from the Service when not Using it; and
to keep his/her password secret.

15 Cancellation policy top

You may remove Your registration details at any time by cancelling Your Membership through the My Account, Cancel Membership page.

16 Disclosure for legal reasons top

We reserve the right to communicate any Member's personal information that We hold to third parties which seek the disclosure of it and which make a legally-compliant request for its disclosure.

17 Data retention period top

We will retain Your personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes to which You consent under the yours2share Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy (or as is required by applicable law). We then delete it.
