In 2006 I founded yours2share and have run the website since then. yours2share.com matches people who want to share valuable assets. This is now operating well and I have some spare capacity

In creating yours2share I have had to learn how to do nearly everything myself, including:

  • Networking: Facebook, LinkedIn, WiRE, Enterprising Women, Norfolk Networking and many more

I'm in the process of creating some search engine optimisation (SEO) and networking events together with Caroline Rust of workshops work. You can find out more at GRT SEO Training. GRT stands for Garrett Rust Training, as well as GREAT!

These workshops are a response to the constant stream of questions I receive from people with websites, who haven't a clue what SEO or search engine optimisation means. It is important to understand what it means, why it matters, and what to do about it.

I'm looking for opportunities that use these skills, with other websites that are complimentary to yours2share, or in high-tech or transportation industries. I'd like to transfer know-how or mentor where possible. yours2share is very broad and I now have a good knowledge of wide range of websites: property, home, lifestyle, environment, boats, aircraft, mobile homes, jewellery, fine art, swimming pools, horses and dogs.

Before starting yours2share, I was a IT project manager and business analyst with Accenture, working in the high tech company QinetiQ, specialising for seven years in Siebel. Before this I had a variety of positions in marketing, market research and engineering, with DHV, British Rail and Ove Arup and Partners. My degree was in electrical and electrical engineering; I have a Diploma in Marketing and am a Chartered Marketer.

I wish to continue to work predominantly at home. I am based in Seething, just south of Norwich, in Norfolk. I’m in London regularly.
